Journal of Light Construction.

We authored a definitive article on remodeling for aging-in-place.  A pdf of the article is available at their website--click on the red text above to go there and then search for "Dickinson Aging".

Newsweek.

Our focus on helping seniors caught the attention of this national publication for a feature on the changing face of retirement living. In the print edition there was a photo of Dave (one of the founders) at one of our projects.

Boomer Advisor.

We've written articles on ktichen and bathroom remodling for this on-line publication.

CAPS Newsletter.

The National Association of Homeowners featured us in their CAPS newsletter focusing on our unique focus on aging-in-place. This article has been picked up and run in other publications.

The Business Journal.

This profile of the business ran in both the Puget Sound and the Portland Business Journals and was picked up across the country. This link (click on title above) will open as a pdf document. 

Additionally, Sara Solovitch used us as a primary resource for her article which appeared in the San Jose Business Journal.  This article was picked up and republished in many other journals, such as the Denver Edition which you can read here (you have to be a subscriber to read it in the original San Jose version.) "Aging in Place" sparks business opportunities.

And, co-founder David Dickinson wrote an Op Ed piece for the Portland Business Journal in response to a rather gloomy editorial on caregiving written by one of the editors. The Golden Years can indeed be golden

Area Developer Magazine

We were featured in the nationally distributed Area Developer magazine in a two page spread in their article Hot Concepts—New Ideas and Opportunities abound in 2007.  Currently, this is only available in the magazine but should eventually make it to their website which is a resource for franchisees

An excellent profile of the business and Brian Bartholomew, one of the partners.

The story features one of our customers and Brian--unfortunately the picture shows the unmodified bathtub and not the work we did.
